Louise has loved drawing for as long as she can remember. She lives in the beautiful county of Devon where she teaches and spends most of her time in her studio, drawing, painting, experimenting and researching.
Louise has always had a fascination for children's books hence she decided to do an M.A. in Children's Book Illustration at Anglia University. It was here she was Highly Commended in the MacMillan Prize and also awarded Best New Talent by Egmont Publishers.
Louise likes to work in various mediums and is currently working in mixed media illustrating her very first picture book for Egmont.
