Suzanne was born and raised in the ancient market town of Berkeley. She was very much an outdoor child and was regularly covered in mud and paint! At the age of six Susanne's teacher predicted she would be an artist. Always her favourite subject, she pursued art through her school days and then moved to Falmouth in Cornwall to study at the School of Art.

It was here she met her husband and they live together with their baby daughter and two enormous cats in an old fisherman's cottage. Not much has changed – Suzanne loves gardening as well as painting and so, as in her childhood, she is constantly covered in mud and paint.
