Blessed at birth with fourteen fingers, a career in Illustration seemed obvious. Born and educated in Glasgow, Ross studied Illustration at Glasgow School of Art where he spent four feckless years evading tutors but winning the Macmillan Prize for best newcomer.

After two years in London he tired of the heat and glamour so returned to the frozen North. Ross now lives in Glasgow's West End where between books he enjoys caber tossing and running with scissors. As you can see, Ross is never serious.
