Following a successful exhibition he made a number of contacts within the greeting card industry with whom he continues to work regularly. This valuable experience led to commissions from a number of publishing houses, in particular OUP.

Mark has now started writing his own picture books as well as illustrating. He shares a studio in South London with four other illustrators – the studio, a disused factory, was once used by Fred Karno to train comedians, including Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel.

For fun, Mark works as an extra for film and TV with walk-on parts in major British soaps.

Titles include:-
