Lesley was born in Germany and returned to England with her English parents when she was two. At school she scribbled drawings over her maths book, a talent not appreciated by her teacher.

However, as soon as she discovered drawing paper things improved and after having five children followed by an illustration course at Chelsea College she is now living and scribbling happily in London.
