In 1978 Jenny stopped painting in order to raise a family and in 1983 began painting in watercolours and exhibiting regularly. When the family moved to Wales in 1992 she began to paint on a larger scale, painting the farming community in Powys. Work for Channel 4 and the BBC followed before Jenny began illustrating children's books in 1998.
